Visual Arts — Hands-On Activity, Talks and Discussion
Culture Days @ the Library is a city-wide celebration of arts and culture taking place at various Toronto Public Library branches.
A picture is worth 1000 words, but how do you tell a story in just one picture? Join this uniquely creative and fun workshop, learn how, and do it yourself!
An illustrative artist with a penchant for one-picture stories, Genie Weinstein will share her tips for creating an image that the viewer can "read" and explore. Her playful watercolour and ink artwork will be on display to illustrate the talk and inspire ideas.
The workshop includes a short presentation, and a hands-on session. Drawing materials will be provided.
Space is limited to 20 people. Please call 416-396-8939 to register.
