During Alberta Culture Days, get free admission to Lougheed House (reg. $5.00 - $8.50) and enjoy a free cup of House Blend Herbal Tea. Explore the House, collections and artwork by yourself or using our popular self-guided audio tour. Our current exhibit, Formed by Sand, explores Calgary's long and complicated relationship to sandstone/oil through the contemporary works (new video, sculpture, paintings, collage, text, illustration and more) of 15 Alberta artists. Enjoy delicious brunch in our Restaurant (prices apply & dining reservations are recommended at 403-410-9288). Our outside Gardens are always free from dawn to dusk. Free parking on site.

Lougheed House

Lougheed House, Alberta's famous 14,000 square-foot historic sandstone mansion, sits on 2.8 acres of green space and gardens in Calgary’s Beltline. A National & Provincial Historic Site, Museum, Gardens and Restaurant, the Victorian home was built in 1891 by Senator James and Lady Isabella Lougheed.
